About us

We are a small, London-based team with a passion for exploring gothic romance, old folklore tales and classic horror through unique, story-driven scents. All of our candles are carefully crafted to evoke powerful associations with timeless stories, making every scent a unique experience. Our inspiration

We set out to produce a collection of unique home fragrances inspired by our love of gothic horror. Each of our signature scents draws its character from a different spooky gothic tale: from the smoky and herbal Carmilla candle, to the sweet-nutty Hansel & Gretel inspired Trail of Crumbs.

We believe that everyone should have a safe place to call home, which is why 10% of our net profits are donated to registered UK charities supporting people experiencing homelessness. This means that with every candle you purchase, you’re helping to light the way for someone in need.

All of our candles are hand-poured in small batches, using materials sourced exclusively from UK businesses. By supporting local suppliers, we strengthen our community and ensure the highest quality for our customers.

Quality ingredients

Our candles are made from a 100% plant-based coconut soy wax, designed for superior hot throw to traditional soy wax. Coconut soy has the same creamy texture as pure soy whilst benefitting from smoother surface resets and producing minimal soot. Each of our recipes has been carefully tested for consistent performance and longevity.

Eco-friendly

We exclusively use lead free wicks and paraben and phthalate free fragrance oils. The cocosoy wax we use is also one of the best choices for minimising environmental impact, and all our candles are housed in high quality glass vessels perfect for reuse.
